When we talk about the living standards, there is no better name in the property business than DHA (Defence Housing Authority). DHA has started its business from Lahore and after starting with five intermingled phases. There is now one most elegant, stylish and well-connected phase in the shape of DHA Lahore Phase 6.
DHA Phase 6 is bigger and better than all of DHA earlier phases. It has wider roads, and well connected with the rest of the city. Before discussing living and investment opportunities, let us discuss its location first.
The main entrance of Phase 6 is from Ring Road Lahore, opposite to DHA Phase 5, Lahore which makes it accessible from previous phases. Allama Iqbal International Airport is just 10 minutes’ drive away. Unlike 120 ft main roads in earlier phases, its 150 ft main boulevard (MB) connects Ring Road with Barki Road. Across Main Boulevard, on the north side, it connects with DHA Phase 8 through three (3) 100ft or wider main roads. Across Bedian road, on the west side, and connected through a 150 ft road is DHA Phase 9 Town. DHA Phase 7 is located just behind this phase in a south-east direction. If we keep moving on MB towards Barki road, across Barki road. We will reach DHA Phase 8 Ivy Green (also known as Phase 8 Sector-Z). It is quite evident that DHA Phase 6 has the best place compared to all earlier phases.
DHA has divided Phase 6 into thirteen (13) blocks namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M & N. Plot sizes available are 5 marla, 7 marla, 10 marla, 1 Kanal and 2 Kanal with 1 Kanal being the most common size existing. Five blocks touch the MB, block A, B, H, J and L. The whereabouts make these blocks best suited for investments. Commercial sectors include Block A Commercial, CCA-1 (Block-C), CCA-2 (Block-D), on Main Boulevard and its back. Commercial plots in these areas are available in 4-marla and 8-marla cutting. 2-marla Sector shops are also available in each block. There are very few 6-Kanal commercial options on main Bedian road in E-block.
It offers a great investment opportunity, including residential plots and commercial plots. Residential plots size is available i.e 5 Marla, 10 Marla, 1 Kanal and 2 Kanal. It also offers some ideal investment option in commercial property i.e 4 Marla and 8 Marla commercial plots on the MB in phase 6 and CCA 1 & CCA 2. However, it is the most prescribe area to buy a new house. Because the home prices in phase 6 are less than phase 5.
There are basically 4 categories of residential plots available
It is available in almost all blocks i.e block B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L. However, there are no 2 Kanal plots in blocks A, M and L. Blocks E and D have only 2 Kanal cutting plots. The 2 Kanal Plot price in phase 6 ranges start from 500 Lacs to 800 Lacs.
However, 1 Kanal plots of A block, B block, C block, H block and K block are considered premium plots. The 1 Kanal Plot price in phase 6 ranges start from 250 Lacs to 370 Lacs.
10 Marla plots are only in A, C, D & L blocks, but most blocks have a very limited number of plots left. The 10 Marla plot of the A block is the most expensive ranges start from 150 Lacs to 250 Lacs.
Basically, there are three categories of commercial plots.

The main boulevard (MB) of DHA Phase 6, including 4 and 8 Mala commercials Plots. Which starting at Phase 6 next to the DHA office and ending near the Burki Junction. MB commercials are one of the most rewarding commercial areas in terms of rental income. Prices for MB commercials decreased as you move from DHA office to Burki Road junction. A few numbers of commercial plots are available on MB for sale.’
A block Commercial plots just next to DHA Main Office In Phase 6. These plots are located on both sides of Avenue 4, but possession is only available on the side next to the DHA office.
There are two CCA in Phase 6, CCA 1 in C block and CCA 2 in D block. Both contain 4 Marla and 8 Marla Commercial Plots. Possession only available in CCA 1, and commercial activities are already blooming. CCA 1 is located in the middle of DHA phase 6 and is very promising for rental income. CCA 2 is still under development and is located in D block at the junction of Bedian Road.
